I was thrilled to attend a Summer Residency (July 23rd and 24th) on Ekphrastic Writing with Arts by the People( https://www.artsbythepeople.org) at Reeves Reed Arboretum. The residency, free to participants, led by Tamar Jacobs, was funded through a grant by the Santiago Abut Foundation.
Ekphrastic poetry can be defined as poetry about a work of art. I am always in awe of how writers can often create authentic community in a short period of time.
